Are You Ready to Shift To More Empowering Beliefs About Yourself?
from Patricia, May 7, 2020 after doing the 10-Day Challenge with me and 5 others "Creating the various lists and statements have forced me to re-think my personal identity--how I see and feel about myself. I have discovered that although I am "aware" of some of my strengths, I rarely meditate on them, or even "appreciate" them. Thus, I learned that I don't really value what I have to offer the world.
"These exercises are increasing my confidence and fortitude. Meditating on my lists daily has made a big difference with how I interact with other people. For instance, for some time, I have faced subtle bullying and hostility at work. Currently, due to the pandemic, staff works from home and we have frequent virtual meetings. Now when the subtle "attacks" come virtually (tone of voice, people talking over me, etc.), I am able to stay calm and strong. I don't indicate, with my voice, that I am upset or in any way affected by the interaction. So, when people start talking over me, I keep talking and the other person stops until I am able to make my point. For me, this is a triumph."
If you want the type of transformation that Patricia describes above...
Then join me and others on a 10-Day journey to shift your beliefs by looking at all that is good that is already INSIDE you!
10 Day Challenge Explanation/Instructions Email me back that you want to participate.
Write a list of all the things you like about yourself and all the things you believe you are good at. Only put things on the list that you absolutely believe even when you’re having a crummy day. You can start writing this list today.
For 10 Days in a row, starting June 14, I want you to review your list at least once a day. If one of the items on the list grabs your attention, sit with it and let it sink in.
Email or Text (773-962-7070) me EVERY DAY that you reviewed your list. Let’s see if everyone who participates can commit and follow through on reviewing your list every day for the next 10 days. We’re in this together and you'll see how powerful it is when you get emails from me letting you know how the participation of everyone is going. Anonymously, of course.
Make note of what thoughts and feelings come up after you review your list. Some days you might not feel or think anything and that is normal. Just make the notes.
So, email me back that you want to participate and go ahead and start making your list today. Tomorrow, I'll send another email with comments from someone else who did the 10-Day Challenge back in late April and May.
